Long Bed
A truck bed measuring approximately 8'0" in length, typically available on regular-cab and some extended-cab configurations. Long beds offer the most camper options and the best weight distribution since the camper sits further forward. The downside is a very long overall vehicle length (especially with crew cabs) that's challenging to park and maneuver. Long-bed trucks are the gold standard for heavy hard-side campers.
