Curb Weight
The weight of your truck as it sits on the dealer lot — with a full tank of gas, all factory fluids, and standard equipment, but no passengers, cargo, or aftermarket accessories. Curb weight is subtracted from GVWR to determine payload capacity. Keep in mind that aftermarket bumpers, winches, toolboxes, and bed liners all eat into your available payload before you even load a camper.
