Three-Way Fridge
A refrigerator that can run on three power sources: propane gas, 12V DC, and 120V AC. Three-way absorption fridges are the traditional choice for truck campers because they work well off-grid on propane. However, they're less efficient than modern 12V compressor fridges, don't cool as well in extreme heat, and must be relatively level to function properly. Many newer truck campers are switching to 12V compressor-only fridges paired with lithium batteries and solar.
