Slide-Out
An expandable section of a camper that slides outward when parked to increase interior living space. Slide-outs in truck campers typically add 2-3 feet of width to the dinette, kitchen, or sleeping area. They significantly improve livability but add 200-400 lbs of weight, create additional seal points that can leak, and require level ground and sufficient clearance to deploy. Available in single-slide and multi-slide configurations.
